Becoming an Event Organizer to List Your Events on the App

1. Submit a Vendor Application

  1. Go to theplaypen.com/vendor-application or from the main menu, go to Events > Vendor/Event Organizer Application

  2. Complete the form with your business name, contact details, and a brief description of what you offer.

  3. Click Submit and wait for our approval email.

2. Complete Your Organizer Profile

  1. Once your vendor application has been approved, you need to create an Organizer Profile. so that all events will showcase your brand and your past, current and upcoming events will be listed under your Organizer Profile. This is in addition to your personal profile that you use to access the platform but does not have a separate login. It is just an extra feature that you have as an event organizer.

  2. From the main menu, go to Events > Manage My Events (https://theplaypen.com/organizer-dashboard/) There will be no organizers listed there. Click on the "plus" sign on the top right to create your organizer profile. 

  3. Fill in:

    • Organizer Name (your brand or company)

    • Logo or profile image

    • Bio/Description. 

    • Contact Info (email, phone, social links)

  4. Submit your profile—this lets you create and manage events.

5. From the main menu, select Events > List Your Event

  1. Go to Events → Add New Event.

  2. Enter core details:

    • Event Title (e.g. “Sunset Yacht Party”)

    • Description and Highlights

    • Date & Time and Location (pier or boat name)

    • Please offer Playpen Chicago users an added benefit or discount code for your event. We currently offer the Event listing feature for free in exchange for special perks for Playpen Chicago users.

    • Under Organizer, select your organizer profile to link your event to your Organizer Profile.

    • Under Venue, you can create a venue listing that will show a description of the venue every time you host an event at that venue

  3. Under Ticketing:

    • Add ticket types (General, VIP, etc.)

    • Set prices, capacities, and sales windows

  4. Upload a high-quality Event Banner.

  5. Click Publish—your event is live on playpen.com and in the app.

6. Track Sales & Manage Bookings

  • Ticket Sales: View orders and attendee lists in Event Manager → Attendees.
